He’s able to withstand extreme bodily injury, this excluding being burnt to a crisp or being dismembered.

When injured, Moth Boy’s body can regenerate itself to prevent decomposing completely. His body is in a constant state of decomposing and regenerating, this leaving his body to be both dead and alive at the same time.

When completely enraged by someone, Moth Boy is able to process all of his pain and other’s he has encountered to that specific person. When effected by this, the person in question can see the horrible things that he has felt flashing before their eyes and leave them blind. It’s also said that if you as a human stare at the Revenant for too long, your sense of vision can fade and disappear completely.

Being as fragile as he is, Moth Boy is not good at standing his ground in fights. He’s easily wounded in battle and will more often flee than anything. When confronted by other supernatural beings, he’s often very intimidated and will have a hard time confronting them if he needs to.

Moth Boy is also very easily swayed by his emotions and will act upon them without any question, this more than often resulting in him harming others rather than helping them. This is why he tries to avoid any human as much as possible.

Personality:

Humble, Trustworthy, Ambitious, Caring, Brave
Fearful, Rough, Heavy-Hearted, Comfortless, Irresponsible

Allies/Family:

Abigail Miller (Mother)

Abigail was dreaming of a full fledged family of several kids when she married Francis Miller, her high school sweetheart. But because of Benjamin’s illness, she was forced to give up that dream. She became a stay at home wife to always keep an eye on her son.

Quickly realizing that caring for him only drained her, she started to neglect him. She stopped bringing him to school, forgot to feed him on time and caring for her son. This resulted in Benjamin’s body growing weaker and weaker to point of near death. When Abigail finally concieved another child, she saw this as an opportunity to get rid of her son in order to finally bring her dream back to life.

Francis Miller (Father)

Francis, a hard working construction manager was a hard and stern guy both on the physical and mental aspect. Though he ruled his work with an iron fist, he allowed Abigail to keep control over their home. Francis didn’t have a lot of interest other than his job and would spend more time over there than at home with his wife.

When Benjamin’s illness was put on paper, he became severely disappointed in his son to the point of neglecting him. When Abigail put up the plan on how to get rid of their sick child, he was the one to do the handy work to put their plan into movement.

Ryan (Younger Brother)

Benjamin had no idea of Ryan’s existence until he arrived back to his family’s house after finally finding his way back home. Realizing that not only had the parents thrown away any memory of him, they already had another child to replace him. Faced with rage and filled with the taste of revenge, the revenant kidnapped the brother and disappeared into the woods.

Quickly realizing that Benjamin was in no state to care for the toddler, he decided to leave him at an orphanage, giving him the chance to start over from the misery that had been brought upon him. Benjamin continued to watch over the brother from there on, never passing up an opportunity to leave him gifts and messages.

Lyet (Lover)

Lyet and Benjamin has many similarities to one another, but in the big picture the differences between them is what pulled them together. Benjamin cares deeply for the starved angel and tries his best to help them out when they have a hard time with the voice inside of them.

Zachary (Friend)

Though none of them would really call each other a friendly face, Zachary and Benjamin are in a close call friends. Zachary would let Lyet and Benjamin stay in his cabin when he was away on missions just to have a roof over their head. Zachary hasn’t spoken much about his past to Benjamin to his very curiosity to why.

Trivia:

- Terrified of wild birds due to his moth-like tendencies.

-  Is physically attracted to lights and will follow lights without hesitation if found. This often brings him to the human areas even though he tries to avoid them with a burning passion.

- Can’t digest human food but loves to consume watery like substances like honey and syrup. Loves the sweetness of it.

Backstory:

Benjamin Miller was born into a rather poor family in Louisiana. Being the firstborn, a lot expectations fell on him from his mother Abigail and father Francis. As a child, he was rather weak and would often end up tumbling over and breaking bones left and right. Things escalated further as he started to grow into puberty. He’d have terrible ache in his knees and particularly in the bones. He was diagnosed with Paget’s disease of bone, causing him to become bedridden. With the extra child support and extra attention from hospitals, the family was able to pick up on funds to improve on their poor lifestyle. While his mother stayed in to care for him day in and day out, his father worked as a construction worker until late evening.

The closer Ben’s 18th birthday approached, the inevitable fact that they wouldn’t receive anymore of child support started to worry the parents. His mother started to neglect her son, leaving him often to go to bed without food or drink. To continue caring for him for the rest of his life wasn’t anything she was planning to do, not with her perfect family dreams in mind.

Managing to convince her husband, the two of them decided to inject heavy sedatives into Benjamin’s medicine, hoping it would preferably knock him out for good. But since Benjamin was so used to being dealt the medicine on a daily basis, as the two of them were trying to drive the lifeless boy out into the dark woods he woke up as they were digging his grave. The awoke, rambling boy caused the parents to panic. They quickly had to cover their tracks or else they would be found out. In a haste movement, the mother grabbed a heavy stone nearby and smashed it against the boy’s head. The boy fell back into his grave, body lifeless and unmoving.

Trying to not waste time, the parents covered the grave as quickly as they could. The bloodstain on the raincoat that his mother wore was thrown along into the shallow grave. A final removal of her memory of him and who he was.

I should've given up my smoking habits a long time ago.
The draft from the car window blew the cold evening air inside, mixing up with the smoke from the cigarette I had between my fingers while keeping a steady hand on the wheel. From such a long day like this, it seemed like nicotine was the only thing that kept me going.
As usual, the drive home would prove to test my patience. After today, I would have rather just been able to take the bus or the subway directly home without having to push myself to drive.
But I liked my home out in the nothingness. And I loved the peace and quiet above all.
On the lonely stretch of road that led into the woods around my home, I saw the dim figure of a boy trudging slowly along the roadside by himself.
Where had he come from?
There was nothing but empty woods and fields for miles around as far as I knew. I tossed the cigarette out the window and pulled alongside him.
Hey, kid. You lost or s
